My truck keeps blowing the right turn signal fuse. I have replaced the corroded and burnt front signal socket as I was told that could be part of the problem. Now another person tells me that if I do not have the oem flasher unit this might be the culprit. Have any ideas to the problem.

The fuse is blowing from one of the wires shorting out to the tail lights. The best place to start is the trailer wiring harness. Check the trailer wiring and make sure that the brown wire in the trailer wiring is not shorting or have any bad places in the insulation.
