if you mean erase the codes, you will need obd2 scanner for 1996 to now- got one from ebay for under 20 bucks- works great

It could be the reluctor ring on the crank shaft.

the D4D ENGINE on Toyota Landcruiser has electronic injectors common rail engine and there is the possibility for gummed injectors and also but quality of diesel fuel in tank. Change the fuel and filter,and also a fuel treatment additive to be use as soon as started. and remember for good also treatment with cleaning use 250ml 2-stroke oil in a tank full of fuel and carry on with this for a month filling. Tank full to empty position and then use 2-stroke every time

REPLACE THE FUEL INJECTOR CANT REBUILT IT.IF YOU REMOVE FUEL INJECTORS FUEL RAIL YOU HAVE TO REPLACE GROMMETS AND O RINGS ON ALL THE FUEL INJECTORS IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE A INTAKE LEAK AT THE OLD FUEL INJECTORS SEALS.REPLACE THE FUEL INJECTOR YOU REBUILT THEY HAVE TO BE REPLACED.
