I am looking for an illustration diagram on how to connect lead wires from the distributor to spark plugs because I have confused the order and mixed up everything in the process
1-3-4-2... you can count that from either end, but 'officially' French cars count from the flywheel end

On the 3.2L distriburorless ignition, the firing order is a straight 1-2-3-4-5-6.

Hope this works for you

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, 5/2 3/6 4/1. ASSUMING YOU HAVE THE 3.1L ENGINE.
SOURCE: 1990 chevy 350 distributor wiring diagram and firing order
The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
The distributor rotates in a clockwise direction. The engine must be on the compression stroke on the #1 cylinder. Line up the timing marks. Remove the cap and the rotor should be pointing to approximately the 5 o'clock position.
Good Luck

It worked! on the distributor cap, there is a marking and it really helped. 1-3-4-2 it is. 1 is on the extreme end, at the plug-hole next to the timing belt while 4 is th the plug-hole next to the distributor cap.
