Changed the head gasket on the engine. When all back together the engine would not start unless the hose to the pcv valve was pulled. Engine starts and idles high, but when pcv valve hose connected back the engine dies. Computer said cam shaft or crank shaft sensor was the problem. Changed them both and computer says the same. Engine runs great with the hose off the pcv valve. Any suggestions to get this car running smooth with hose to pcv valve connected and check engine light to go off?

Changed pcv valve and still the same.
engine sputtering randomly
Check engine light came on and was diagnosed with misfire on #5 plug. Changed out all the plugs and wires, changed valve cover gasket and it is still bouncing at a stop?
pt crusier engine idles slow and uses a lot of gas but runs good without cam sensor connected
