My 97 F150 Has the fourth fuse down blown and my wipers dome light cargo light and the alert for the lights and the door agar bell are gone I have a fuse box from an 1997 expodition is it posible to place the fuses in the exact same places and replace it into my truck with my harness and with it logical work or is the mother board wired different please thank you KevinGillis

I would look for a blown fuse in the fuse box, but that is the easy part. You next will need to determine why the fuse blew.

Spray wd40 in all the door latches, the door switches stick.

try removing earth cleaning it and replacing it again.....maybe lol

Chances are this is a case of a dirty door ajar switch, which is part of of the door latch.

The way to check ( fix ) this is to spray down the latch liberally and close open the door a few times.

It might take 2 or 3 cycles of this to get the door ajar switch to start working again.

There is a thread in the electrical forum at F150online that covers this, with pictures of where to spray the WD-40 if it is not clear.

you need to connect to the actual dome light ,the one that feeds the bulb

Hi, this might be caused by a blown fuse. Check all fuses as there are some systems integrated with others running from the same fuse. If all the fuses are fine you will need to look at the earth connections and power supplies to the systems.

Hello. the wiring harness plug that goes into the relay panel just to the left of the brake pedal may be your culprit. . If you remove the cover of the relay panel and wiggle the wires in the big connection plug, you will likely find that your interior lights will flicker. I believe Ford had a recall on these wiring harnesses so contact a Ford dealer about that.

check the fuse box on the driver side of the car underneath the dash near the door the fuse is probably blown

have u check the bulbs?.... i would try to see if they ok remove em an check for power going to those locations, activate ur switches an see if you get any power may just be burned bulbs..... if the fuses seem to be OK

spray WD 40 on your door latch and this should fix the problem.
