You may be able to use a 'deep well' socket, but on my 1997 Integra, the socket was too large to fit in the spark plug well (about 1" X 8" deep). I ended up using a penetrant (PB Blaster, etc.) and a 9/16" screw extractor (what looks like a plug in the well is the end of the screw extractor) and reversed a 3/8" extension and locking pliers. Be sure and push down pretty hard on the extension/pliers as you turn it counter-clockwise, until you feel the non-fouler break free.
I could probably still reuse the non-fouler, even after using the extractor.
When you install these non-foulers (on no more than two cylinders), be sure the metal 'o-ring' is on the fouler, just like it is on the spark plug. Also, I'd suggest using anti-sieze compound (get a dollar's worth pack at the auto parts checkout) on the threads.
