The blower motor resistor is always located right next to the blower motor so it can be cooled, the connector will be fairly large with about 5 or 6 wires.

SOURCE: 2003 Ford F150 Heater fan problem

The problem is the Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective. Purchase the Pack so you will know what you are looking for. It can be located in a few locations. It can be behind the glove box, behind the kick panel on the passenger side, or next to the blower motor. I am almost certain yours is located behind the glove box but not 100% sure. Hope this helps you.

you can do it you will find it down by the passenger foot are just under the glove box.it has two screws holding it in place and one electrical plug. note if fourth speed is also not working this means a fuse is blown out the fourth speed is wired through a fuse out under the hood fuse panel. good luck please comment on this if it helps you thanx.

Where can I get an instrument light rheostat for 2011 ranger ford has discontinued.

A rheostat is a rheostat, I did a web search and found some. I don't know if compatible with your vehicle? You might be able to make it work? You might try a salvage yard, see if they have anything? good luck

Where is the heater rheostat located on my 95 GEO tracker I

If you were sitting in the front passenger seat, the blower motor is just above your right foot, the rheostat (or blower motor resistor) is just above and to the left of the motor.

The 97 Bonneville. That has. The twilight sentinel feature. The dash. Or cluster does not work none of the int light works and the fog lamp all fuses are goods

Twilight feature is used by the BCM to turn on the headlights when light levels diminish. Dash, cluster lighting is controlled by a rheostat near the headlight switch. The rheostat is rolled up for brighter lights. If this does not work the interior module may have burned out or the rheostat may be bad. If interior lights come on when rheostat is rolled fully up it most likely is OK. Interior lighting module is located above the headlight switch beside the cluster on the left side.

04 transit 90 t 350 power loss or surging at 2300 revs +

Does the check engine light come on? You need to check the throttle control rheostat. Instead of a linkage, there is a module that moves when you step on the gas pedal. This can get a bad spot in it and when you drive and go through that spot, it breaks connection and the engine stumbles.

My fuel gauge starts showing empty and dings when i know the fuel is full in a 2000 dodge intrepid. What needs fixed, gauge or sensor? If it is the sensor where is that located?

The fuel tank has the Rheostat that has a float and on which the float moves up to change the resistance to the gauge which is a volt meter.
So you need to locate the fuel tank to see the fittings here, removal of the wires to the rheostat will change the fuel readings, so as to confirm the gauge.
If so remove rheostat and move float on the outside with the connection of ground and lead externally to confirm as you will notice the change on the meter.

2003 ford exp 4.6L jerks between 45-55 mph. just had complete tune up all plugs were changed out, fuel filter etc...

Replace TPS (Throttle Positioning Sensor) It's a rheostat that controls throttle. After time and mileage it develops hot spots/wear in areas that get most use. In your case the 45-55 mph area of rheostat. Your description is spot on to symptom of bad TPS.
