I tried connecting computer to my Dodge Grand Caravan 2004 and it found the problem with EGR .. What is the cost of EGR Valve and replacment labour .. Is it covered under warranty (my car is in under warranty )

If it is a 2004 the 3 yr 36000 mile warranty has probably expired. i assume it has a 2.4L the egr is on the drivers side rear part of the head...if memory serves me correctl the valve is about $125 plus and hour of labor

P0405 is an Exhaust Gas Recirculation fault. This could be a faulty valve. You could try cleaning the valve first, chances are it will need to be replaced in the long run. Hope this helps...

3.3 engines has the egr valve with transducer.you have to replace the whole unit. code p0406 what its trying to tell you your egr valve circuit is short to ground.it has failed .

I repair mine last summer,
It is on the exast port, left.
You have a tube attach to it, going in the Head Cover.
Easy to change. it cost me $105.00CND at the dealer
