I have a 2001 daewoo Lanos and the wipers don't work. I am looking into a new wiper motor, but also need to know if it could be a fuse, I dont have the fuse diagram though. And if it is the wiper motor how easy it would be to replace it myself and how to do so. Please Need help ASAP
Wiper motor easy to change just remove arms first ,check fuses first though as these units last the life of the car normally .look for fuse panel and you will find----look inside fuse panel cover and the fuses are shown

Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? A wiring diagram for your vehicles windshield wipers electrical circuit would show all components involved . You would need a wiring diagram for testing ,so you know which wires too test . It would show the fuse location - amperage etc.... Which of these is your vehicle - Notchback or hatchback or station wagon .
The fuse would be marked WPR fuse # 9 25 amp. located in the IP fuse panel . IP - instrument panel fuse box . It's location is
Fuse Block - I/P
Behind the left side of the I/P access panel
Windshield Wiper System
The windshield wiper system consists of a wiper motor, a linkage, a wiper arm and a blade, and a wiper/washer switch. The windshield wiper circuit incorporates a self parking device which consists of a worm gear and a cam plate in order to keep the circuit engaged temporarily when the switch is turned off. The wiper system is driven by a permanent magnet-type motor. The windshield wiper motor is mounted on the dash panel and is directly connected to the windshield wiper linkage.
The windshield wiper motor has 2 speeds, LO and HI, and also has intermittent wiper capability. The wiper switch is an integral part of the wiper/washer switch. Windshield wiper operation is actuated through the lever on the right side of the steering column.
usually only a screw-driver;flat point. there is a lil lever on the wiper at the stud it sits on. pry it up and lift off. or take it too advanced auto and they will do it for you.car-quest,auto-zone,any of the parts stores will do this. lol.
First of all, NOBODY can tell you why your wipers are not working without diagnosing your wiper system. It could be the wiper motor, the wiper transmission, the wiper control module, the wiper control switch, or any of the wiring in-between.
Secondly, you may be just plain out of luck. The problem is that almost nobody has parts for Daewoo.
Daewoo was only built for 3 years before the company went out of business.
sounds as if the wiper arm to the motor has come undone and removal of the panel on the firewall needs to be removed in order to reattach the arm ..this happens from either wear or when heavy snow and ice prevent the wipers from working and from the force of the motor will cause it to pop ...fairly easy to do simply open the hood and remove the screws to the panel ..locate the wiper motor and you will see the panel which covers the wiper apparatus remove it and after the wipe armature is located you may need to turn the key on and shut the wipers to Off position and then turn off the key before reattaching the arm ...reverse procedure is how to reinstall the panel ...
on another note are you sure the wipers themselves are not stripped out the spline drive to the wiper or that they are properly seated as well ..that would be my 2nd thought
i do not know but it should be in your owner manual if you have miss place it see if you can download one its www.edmunds.com wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.
Try to find the fuse, if the fuse is ok try to remove the cable under the pump and reconnect them, if the pump still dosent work u need to buy a nes one and replace it.
By the way, start with check that u have power to the pump, buy a test lamp tp do that, you need to be two for testing that, one for pushing the switch and one to check the test-pamp.
