look under the dash at the fuse panel and locate the relay for the horn... replace it. quick way to tell which one it is is put your finger on each relay as you press the horn... the one that you can feel clicking is the one to replace.

SOURCE: LOW BEAMS NOT WORKING 2002 FORD FOCUS

Hi. i recommend a thorough inspection of the wiring harness and harness connectors that led to the actual headlights. use a volt meter to test the current flow to the connectors. pull the connectors from the back side of the headlights and test all cooper contacts inside the connectors. If the wire contacts all show voltage, this will confirm a switch malfunction. it should be replaced in this case.

Now, if one or more contacts on the wires harness fail to produce any voltage, this will confirm a faulty wiring harness. replace the wiring harness in this case.

Make sure the headlight switch is in the on position when testing the wires.

Horn stopped working. how to fix?

Check to see if there is 12 volts at the horn positive connection when someone pushes the horn button on the steering wheel. If there is voltage, and no sound, you need a new horn. If there is no voltage when the horn button is pressed, you need to troubleshoot the rest of the electrical circuit. First look in your fuse box for a blown horn fuse. Then try replacing the horn relay.

Location of horn relay on a 2002 ford expedition what the # of relay .

You'll probably have to find it to get the number off it. Do you have your owner's manual? It should show location of the horn relay.
Check the Power Distribution Box under the hood. The cover over it may show relay locations. Look on the underside of the cover.

My horn has stopped working on my 1998 ford focus. when the horn is pressed it just makes a clicking sound. what do i need to do to get it working again?

There is a chance that the horn relay is bad if one is even used so I would check this first for contact with the socket it is plugged into. This relay will probably be located in a central fuse/relay box and there should be a diagram inside the lid that will identify the various contents.
If you find no relay, check the horn(s) for a screw that is not used for mounting. If you find one, this is likely to be an adjustment screw for an internal contact.
You will need someone inside the cab to hold the horn button depressed while you adjust this screw. Be prepared to jump (!) when you successfully get the horn to blare at you. Don't bust your knuckles!
You should have the horn depressed several times and note whether is sounds 'normal' or not; if it sounds strange, the adjustment isn't quite right yet, try again.
Good luck-

Howto replace the horn on my 2003 ford focus fuse is ok relay is also clicking when horn is pressed but no sound

Your horns are behind the grill and can be a chore to get at. Before you dig into that, you know that clicking you hear? Find the box that's clicking - that's your horn relay. Try replacing that first before ripping your grill out.
