CD Error on Stereo (Not a code issue)

I put a CD in my special edition six cd changer. It has six cd total. Was playing fine, switched to the radio tuner, then back to CD... now the CD player would not work. Will not recognize any of the cd's loaded, when I hit load it just keeps flashing "busy" and I hit eject and nothing happens. Everything else works fine. Is there any way to override and emergency eject the cds or reset the player? I've unplugged the battery and entered the code, but same problem exists.

Just bought a used 1997 Jetta with 6 disk CD changer. The changer once was selectable through the Mode button on the Dash Radio, but it was unable to read the disk. Now the dash radio doesn't even select...

Your car is 13 years old. The lens on your disc reader is also 13 years old . They get extremely dirty. Especially if the changer is in the trunk. I'd try using a disc lens cleaner to see if that fixes the issue. Could be that its just worn out. Hard to say . Have you taken it to a stereo shop ? I'd take it to one of those before you take it to the dealer. The dealer will waaaaaaay over charge you for diagnostics on a cd changer where as a local stereo shop would Probly fix it for ya for next to nothing.

My Honda accord Sedan car CD Player cannot eject CD .

Before connecting any cables you must set the dip switch box to the position listed for your vehicle. If you set the dip-switches after you have connected cables to the box, you must disconnect and reconnect them for the changer to operate. All 1992-2004 Honda's are compatible with the Neo Changer except the 2003 and 2004 Honda Accord and all Honda Element vehicles. Some radio models require pressing "Seek >" once to start playing after changing CD or after startup. The radios display will not show the proper disc number after disc six. You can use all 10 discs in the magazine, but the readout will be wrong. This is not a technical problem; the car stereo was designed for no more than six discs. *Due to the direct access disc system, you will not be able to directly access discs 7-10. To access these discs you will have to go to the last track on disc 6 and let it play until it loads disc #7. ( you can fast forward the track, but you must let it play the last 5 seconds of the track, for it to change to disc # 7 Switch to the Neo Changer by pressing the "CD" button. To change discs press "Disc -" and "Disc +" To change tracks simply press "Seek <" or "Seek >" S E T T I N G S F O R H O N D A 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ON OFF OFF ON OFF OFF ON OFF

How do I know if I have a CD player in my Volvo 850? There is a CD button but when I press the CD button it says "EEEE" my audio system is the SC-710. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently you do not have a CD changer connected to your radio and that is why you get an error when you press the CD button. However sometimes it's an error code and means that you need to reenter the code for the radio. Is there a place to put in a CD? If so, here's a link to some info on your radio and entering your code.

Cd changer not playing

Check fuses. There are two fuses to this stereo. One that hold memory for the clock and stereo preset buttons and one for turning the stereo on. There are usually two fuse boxes, on inside the vehicle and one under the hood near the car's battery. Again, check ALL fuses. One is usually labeled for the radio/stereo, the other is not.
As for the CD changer, disconnect one of the main car battery terminals for several minutes. This is easier then removing the changer and acts as a reset. Possibley bringing the changer back to working condition. Otherwise, this could be a repair issue, see www.carstereohelp.com
