Bad starter where is the starter located on a 1998 olds intrigue?

Sounds like you have a shift control problem, either in the transmission or the ECM controlling it. Check for trouble codes (DTCs) with a good code reader.

on the frame rail under the rear driver side door
be care when change the fuel line broke when I changed mine also the rear brake lines are right there

Do the lights come on but, just don't flash? It could be the turn signal flasher. The owners manual should show the location.

sounds like the blend door motor is bad on the driverside, its located on the heater box, here a diagram to help you locate it.it is on the driverside of the box, heres a picture of it, this is a single zone yours is daul you will see the pass/side motor the driverside i pointed to its location on your car. hope this helps you.

its usually located on the the bottom side of the engine next to the flywheel . if you got the right tools it shoulnt be that hard to replace

the starter is located just below the exhaust manifold, next to the oil pan. its directly mounted next to the torque converter cover. check the visual aid to help with the location.

it very much could be a bad flywheel. sometimes the teeth "go bad" on them and then they need replaced. Look here first.

The starter will be located on the lower portion of the engine towards the rear of the engine, right about where the engine connects to the transmission.
