I have 2004 chrysler sebring lxi 4 door...the other day i opened the sunroof and when i closed it it wouldn't close all the way and leave a little gap about 1 inch long....any ideas ????

You will have to pull the door panel off and check to see if one of the rollers came out of regulator or regulator arm maybe bent or the upstop adjustment may have come down.

If you hear motor hum than it's probably a bad rail part. I have the same plastic rail part and both sides broke. Can't find a replacement anywhere.

I took mine in expecting to have it repaired and it turns out that it was just the screws along the left and right-hand side of the panel.  They were loose.  The guy told me that "it eventually happens" and that "it's only a matter of time".  He went on to say that "it shouldn't happen again".  So, check the screws on either side of the panel right where it's stopping.  I suspect that this is prohibiting yours from closing as well.

OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks

03 Jeep Liberty sunroof wont close. I have 4 sunroof buttons; Open, Close, Vent and ASC. Open and Vent buttons are working fine. Close button is not responding. ASC button is flashing red and green but does nothing when pushed. I have no way to get it closed
