Mazda 626 2001 overheating

Hello everybody, I have a problem with my 2001 mazda 626. While I'm driving in traffic it's overheating, and I can see the temperature scale raising almost to the top. I've already tried adding a cooling liquid- the radiator is full but it's still overheating. The termostat was changed twice, and nothing halped. There is no drain of cooling liquid- the radiator was already checked under pressure and the cooling fan is working for a very long time.

All i can think of is the thermostat is not opening. or you may have a clog somewhere preventing the flow. Check the T-stat and hoses and radiator ( for clogs) Good luck

First, check the relay for the cooling fans. Not sure about Mazdas but Fords have two coolant temperature sensors. One for the gauge or light on the dash and one for the fan relay. Check and make sure the sensor hasn't went bad or come unplugged. If these don't fix it the fan itself may be bad.

Temp gauge goes up when sitting in traffic and at light but goes down while driving

Check the operation of the radiator fan and relay. This has typically failed under these circumstances.
Once the vehicle is in motion, there is enough air being forced through the radiator to cool it down.
When sitting in traffic, it's the fan's job to cut in and pull air though the radiator.

I have 2001 mazda 626 and its overheating. we have checked fluids nothing is leaking or coming out levels are good. we have replaced the thermastat and its still doing it. where should i look next? ill...

when does it overheat ? wile driving at hiway speeds ? or at idle or wile driving in stop and go traffic ?

if it overheats on the hiway, supect a restricted radiator, or a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head.

if it only over heats at idle or in stop and go traffic, supect no cooling fans.

Overheating

I am not an expert on Mazda vehicles but sounds like your fan temperature sensor is not working properly. My fan comes on low speed when the temp hits 205 and goes to high speed at 220 or when the air conditioning is on. You had better get it checked by your dealer or service tech.
