Any time I am at a stoplight or stop sign the car stalls and sputters like its gonna die then when you push on the accelerator it does the same and every once in awhile it hesitates when you push on the gas Im getting a P0440 code which is evaporator emission system from the check engine light what could be causing this

they should have given you a possible problem print out , realy need to know what p 3606 is
any way it could be you idle air controle valve ,clean it , and or replace it.
