Why was the battery replaced? Theres no reason the the 100 amp fuse to blow unless the alternator is shorted or you hooked up the battery backwards. I think the 100 amp fuse goes to the alternator. If it was hooked up backwards then you may have engine computer damage.
When this happens, there is no charging system voltage (from the alternator). Several possible causes
1. Alternator's regulator has stopped working
2. Alternator fuse (100 to 120 amp) is blown (at battery post or inside Fuse/Relay box under the hood)
3. Wiring between alternator & battery &/or fuse/relay box.
The fusible link amp rating is based on the output of the alternator. I would assume your alternator is no more than 90 amps -- a temp fuse rated @ 100 amps should do it.
not taped in harness it is bolted into fuseblock on outside of fuse block are 4 little locks holding in part of fuse block using small screwdriver release locks by prying outwards while pulling up on 100 amp fuse when it has released enough it will expsoe the bolts holding in the 100 amp fuse one side is an 10mm the other is a 8mm MAKE SURE YOU DISSCONECT THE BATTERY 1ST
sounds like you poped the main fuse in the under hood fuse panel. before that the battery light on in a toyota pretty much points to an alternator problem.
