The tire pressure monitors I have seen require you to drive a certain distance after correcting the low pressure condition.I believe it uses the wheel speed sensors to detect a tire with low pressure(then one that is low will be essentially be giving a different reading because it is rotating more times at a given speed).I am assuming the system IS sensitive enough to get a false reading if one of the tires is a mismatched size,so keep this in mind.

Try turn the ignition on...next put foot on the brake....Then mash gas pedal to the floor all the way down until it touches the floor and then back up 3 or 4 times..completely while foot is on brake .This works for GM and chrysler...It might help you I am not sure but it is worth a try.....>Some vehicles have a reset and a settings button on the dash board....If you have these buttons the pedal trick wont work.......Hope this helps.............................Metalpoet
