You have an upper hose, and a lower hose and both are attached to the radiator just in front of the engine and lead to the engine. The upper hose leads to the top of the engine where the thermostat housing is located. The loser hose usually go to the water pump near the middle of the engine.

Good luck.

SOURCE: how to remove 2002 ford taurus radiator

Remove the rad support cover, remove the electric cooling fan and shroud, disconnect the tranny cooler lines, drain the cooling system, remove the upper and lower hoses, remove the rad brackets on top of the rad (one on each side), have someone hold the AC core out of the way and carefully slide the radiator up and out

SOURCE: Radiator cooling fan fuse location for Ford Taurus

The cooling fan on a ford car usually does not have a fuse. The cooling fans are controlled by a relay in the power distribution box inside the engine compartment. The box is usually located near the battery. Your owners manual should have a guide showing you what each relay in the box is for.

Thermostat replacement

Follow your radiator hose all the way to the engine block, it is located at the end of this hoes. you will need to remove this hose to retrieve it. this will be the large hose connected to the radiator. there is a metal couple at the end that couples this hose to the engine block. its in the front of the motor on top of the water pump.
