My 2005 Dodge Neon SE with a manual transmission is making a horrible vibration / noise when accelerating and when I initially start my vehicle. It seems to get worse when driving over bumps in the road. However, when I put the car in neutral and coast the noise goes away and bumps don't seem to make the noise come back either. Also it does not seem to happen when I put the car in reverse so it seems like the noise is only happening when the engine is under load / accelerating and during the initial startup. Any help would be appreciated.

if what your feeling is not an engine miss,
then it will be a motor mount, best chances are the front center one,,
or top trans mount

check the motor motor mounts for movement,
watch how far engine rocks forward or back with it running and foot on brake
