There seems to be no problem with the transmission, so what else could this light mean,, I have recently changed the engine and the front passenger side wheel bearing... sometimes I can shift the car from overdrive to drive and it wheel go off, other times it wheel go off on its own, then if it keeps flashing for a minute I can stop turn the car off and it resets and stays off.

Your transmission fluid contain water, thats why the colour of the fluid changed to pink. And of such the clutch is slipping causing the engine to reve up before shifting - Check transmission cooler.

You need to test the selector motor at the trnasfer case, the connector might be disconnected or damaged, they had to remove this to remove the trans, so take it back to the guys (or gals) that did the work, have them check those items.

Sounds like you need to cover basics first. The battery cables are clean and tight? Are all the wires in the battery cable at the battery making a good connection? Sounds like a common problem and is in the service bullitins is that the ground wire attached to the battery cable end that goes to the body and then to the transmission case bolt has failed to provide a good ground and the acuators and servos and even the switches have'nt a good path to ground ( their is one but it's though other controllers and the power isn't strongly grounded. I f you were following a dianostic tree of good and bad the ground is the number one cause of your problem. Don't fix the old grounds just add new ones. and then clear codes and test it again. Oil leaks near the transmission to engine connection were found by me everytime that I was assigned to this set of problems. Ground corrected and the car was fixed.

will try to help.the shaking during braking may be a warped brake rotor, shaking while driving is in the wheel alignment. you have several issues to deal with.as far as the engine light flashing, check all your fluid levels in the engine. oil,low coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid. top off fluids as needed. you can reset that engine light by disconnecting the positive cable from the battery for 10mins.this will reset the cars computer. but if you have a sensor or other issues, that light will come back on.the only way to know for sure is to have it code read a garage or dealership will be able to plug it in to get the codes for you.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
