Question about 1998 Buick LeSabre

95 buick lesabre wont start

I put my key in to start it and it wont make any noise wont even try to turn over. my father hooked up a starter remote to it and it started up and then died? its not the battery or starter because we had them checked do you know what it could be?

98 buick lesabre wont crank with key. When I cross the starter it runs great for 10 seconds and dies.

There is something wrong with the ignition primary circut (all the power supply to the ignition.) or there is just no power to the ignition switch

You need to proof read your problem, confusing. Motor turning over and one starting are different. Is the remote factory? If not you need to disconnect the power to it and try again.

could be a problem starter relay or starter solenoid
if the battery lead goes straight to the starter , pull the starter and have it bench tested

check and see if you have 12 volt at the purple wir at the starter when the key is turn to start if you dont see why not

My 1993 buick lesabre wnt start. Changed the starter and its not that. Security light stays on. But it use to still start even with the light on. When I turn the key there is no clicking noise or anything....

Yes, this sounds like your starter is begining to go out. What will happen as this problem continues to progress: is that when you go to start the car you will have to try 2, then 3 then 4 times for the starter to finally engauge. Then if you pray really hard when it gets to the 5th time it might start. The noise you hear is the bendix drive not engauging the flywheel.

89 Buick Lesabre wont start - it is not the battery - Is it the starter of a bad chip in the key. Is there a way to tell?
1989 buicks did not have a chip in keys. get someone to use a remote strter switch(which you can buy at a parts store). follow instructions. if it doesn't start; try there.

1999 Buick regal Security light on. Won't start.
I had the same problem with my 95 Lesabre. The owners manual says to take the key out, and wait 3 minutes(until the light goes off). It should fire right up.

I need to remove and replace the engine cradle/subframe on my 98 lesabre. I see one bushing listed but references to body position 1 or body position 2 and I do not understand those positions. For any website that Ive visited, it specifies that a bushing is good for position 1 or position 2. If I need six bushings, what is the answer for the other positions and what are those positions?
