This could be a whole heap of issues, storing the vehicle for such an extended period of time, you will need to check all your engine's parts. In other words, perform a full service. You may even need to drain the fuel and put in fresh fuel, as the old fuel deteriorates over time. Also check your electrical earths are corrosion free. Also check the wheels are free to rotate, they could be binding.

You could have something wrong with the computer causing the error message on the scanner. Do this connect scanner and turn key to run don't start vehicle. See if this give you error or code. The backfire is caused by gas getting into exhaust system. You could have a wheel locked up causing the abs light to come on.

SOURCE: my audi has no power. when you step on gas. car

The throttle position sensor needs to be reset with Vag-Com. This happened to me a couple times and I paid $100 to the dealership both times. Now I have Vag-Com and the OBDII cable and I do it myself.

SOURCE: i have a 2002 audi quatro A4 V6. the battery goes

unhook battery positive and install test light in between the post and the cable. if it has a draw it should come on dim. then unplug the fuses one at a time and when you pull the fuse and the light gose out thats the circut with the draw. then refer to what that fuse runs and correct the problem by inspecting that part and repairing as needed.

Gotta love those Bosh electrical systems! Did they check the alternator / regulator? Short in the system causing it to go dead and loose programing.

No power on my audi a3 1.9

Sounds like you have a dead battery. The battery could just be old (after 5 years they fail fast) or it could be your alternator isn't charging the battery. If you can get the car jump started, test the voltage at the battery, if the voltage is more than 12 volts you likely just need a new battery.

10 amp draw draining battery overnight on 99 tahoe

I have done this before, put about a 10 amp charger on the battery. Pull the courtesy light fuse first. Look at the battery charger, it is probably charging several amps, pull one fuse at a time. When the charging amps drops down you found the fuse the controls the problem. I had a car several years ago that someone pulled the seat belt all the way out, somehow it was pulling a load and draining the battery overnight.

Battery drains while car is not driven

Try charging the battery out of the vehicle. If it holds a charge, you have an open circuit somewhere. Check your light switch first. Make sure the interior lights are off.

sounds like the alternator is not charging the battery, when it doesnt start are you sure the battery is dead, i know you jump it but a faulty starter can od that also, if there are no inside lights or radio or headlights dont come on then its the battery and its defective or the alternator is not charging all the time may be bad, good luck hope this is helpful.

1999 Audi A6 Quattro will not run over 1500 RPMs.

Start your car, then unplug the battery. if it dies, your alternator may need to be checked at an automotive parts store for it may be bad. If it runs, your battery has a dead cell and needs to be replaced.
