How do I fix error codes p0700, p0715, p0720 on my 2000 Chrysler 300m? Transmission is slipping and RPMs are increasing.

p0700 indicates you have trans fault present..p1776 is a trans fault which means solenoid switch valve is latched in low/reverse position..solenoid switch valve is located in valve body of transmission,but for 2001-2004 LH vehicles you need transmission event data read to find out what TRS position the fault set..recommend chrysler dealer for this fault..also build code on solenoid pack in trans must be checked..if in a certain build code range,you replace solenoid pack..not the valve body..valve body must be removed to check build code on solenoid pack..i have seen this problem before..i am a dealer technician, and had one of these fault codes last week and solenoid pack was the problem..solenoid pack is about 375 dollars..total time with diagnostics was about 3 hours..

All of the codes are related to the transmission. Some indicate the input speed sensor. I'd bring it back to the transmission shop and tell them to deal with it. I don't know what your car was doing before you had the transmission replaced so it's hard to tell whether the repair was needed but since it was done, the problem should be the transmission shops, not yours. P1529 indicates that your TCM asked the ECM to turn on the check engine lamp.
The range switch and the output speed sensors are the items that are
abnormally affecting the operation of the transmission. The diagnostic
logic in your computer can distinguish these issues from one another,
so you'll definitely want to do both. You have no diagnostic code for
the input speed sensor (P0715) listed, so I have made no recommendation
to replace it. In my opinion, it's not a labor-intensive repair, so I
wouldn't recommend replacing it unless you have reason to believe it's
bad.
DTC - P0720 (OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR SYSTEM)
Code No. P0720 Output shaft speed sensor system
If the output from the output shaft speed sensor is continuously 50%
lower than the vehicle speed for 1 second or more while driving in 3rd
or 4th gear at a speed of 30 km/h or more, it is judged to be an open
circuit or short-circuit in the output shaft speed sensor and
diagnostic trouble code No. P0720 is output. If diagnostic trouble code
No. P0720 is output four times, the transmission is locked into 3rd
gear or 2rid gear as a fail-safe measure.

Malfunction of the transfer drive gear or driven gear
Malfunction of connector
Malfunction of the TCM
DTC - P0715 (INPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR SYSTEM)
Code No. P0715 input shaft speed sensor system
If no output pulse is detected from the input shaft speed sensor for 1
second or more while driving in 3rd or 4th gear at a speed of 30 km/h
(19 mph) or more, it is judged to be an open circuit or short-circuit
in the input shaft speed sensor and diagnostic trouble code No. P0715
is output. If diagnostic trouble code P0715 is output four times, the
transaxle is locked into 3rd gear or 2nd gear as a fail-safe measure.

700 tells you that there has been a "transmission control circuit malfunction", and 740 basically pinpoints the possible culprit, which is "Torque converter clutch control circuit malfunction". If you don't notice any difference in the way the transmission is shifting, especially when you are at cruising speed on highway, or you've basically reached the speed your going to travel at, and are no longer accelerating, your converter normally goes into "lock-up" and your engine RPM's will drop by approx, 200-300 RPM's. When your driving it basically feels like transmission shifted again, slightly. If all feels well, it may just be a one time thing, but being how transmissions are somewhat temperamental, as well as expensive to repair when big problems occur, I would certainly consider getting it in to a dealer for diagnosis at least, and see what they come up with, as it may only be a bad switch, or bad, corroded connection causing the codes. Remember, if it sounds like an expensive,extensive repair, then simply get all the info, and either stop elsewhere for diagnosis of same problem, (without telling them it's already been diagnosed) and see what second opinion has to say. If in doubt after that, get back to us, with diagnosis results, and we'll be glad to help you decide from there. One thing you may want to consider though, is a transmission service, (oil and filter change) if it hasn't been done in a while, just as a preventative maintenance thing. Changing of oil and filter in those transmissions at regular intervals, is a good way of extending the life of them. I recommend the new ,Autopar ATF4 transmission oil, which is more expensive, but guaranteed to last for lifetime under normal driving conditions. Chrysler/Autopar products tend to work better with it, and new filter, although there are many mechanics that will argue that fact, there are just as many mechanics and owners who have seen other oils cause problems, and when they switch to Autopar, those problems disappeared.

Only thing I can add is that when transmission is slipping, car bucks, RPMs rev up and power decreases.
