Just done this on a 2002 (mk2) CR-V with 2 litre ivtec petrol engine. The knock sensor is screwed into the engine block underneath the inlet manifold. The best access to it is by removing the inlet manifold but this takes time. I replaced it from below by:

1) remove the undertray that is fastened to the front bumper, to do this its two bolts and lots of plastic rivets - lever the centre pins out of the rivets and they will come out.
2) from underneath the car you can now see the knock sensor in the centre of the engine block, it has a 27mm AF hex and a cable going to it.
3) disconnect the cable from the knock sensor, it has a latch on the plug that needs to be pressed, if like me you can't reach to press the latch don't worry move on to the next step.
4) Get a large 27mm open end spanner and undo the knock sensor, if you wern't able to disconnect the cable in the previous step it is possible to take the sensor all the way out of the block with the cable still attached. It is then much easier to unlatch the cable.
5) to refit the new one you need small hands or better access - there is a plastic clip holding a cable to the engine on the left hand side of the engine I found that by removing this clip (a single 10mm bolt) I could move the bundle of cables and get better access to refit and connect the new knock sensor.
6) Fit the new knock sensor into the block, tighten it to the recommended torque (can't get a torque wrench in so just nip it up, do not overtighten).
7)reconnect the cable.
8) refasten the cable clip holding the bundle of cables you removed to get access.
9) refit undertray.
10) I don't have a code reset device and the check engine light was still on after this work but it went out after three complete engine cold, hot, cold cycles. and has stayed out since.

SOURCE: Engine light came on - yellow. Code: P0134 02

there is either a problem with the wiring going to the front oxygen sensor, or with the oxygen sensor itself. good luck!

SOURCE: Looking to replace honda pilot knock sensor

These knock sensors are hard to get into. If thats a V6 it is underneath the intake manifold. make sure you cover the intake port when you take it apart, so a screw or a bolt don't accidentally drops in there.

SOURCE: Engine light is on and

What happens, is you get a check light on.
You have the code read for free
If you get the code, you replace something
not knowing the system your working on
and that codes don't tell you what to change

Your best bet is to always have a professional
shop with a data base, that can access anything
they need pertaining to your vehicle, diagnose and
repair it.

Where is the knock sensor on 2003 honda crv

The knock sensor on a 2003 Honda CRV is located on the engine block. Specifically, it is located under the intake manifold, which means it can be difficult to access. Here are the steps to locate and replace the knock sensor on a 2003 Honda CRV:
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shock.
  2. Remove the intake manifold. This involves removing several bolts and electrical connections.
  3. Locate the knock sensor, which is located near the rear of the engine block, under the intake manifold.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
  5. Remove the sensor from the engine block. This may require a special tool, depending on the specific design of the sensor.
  6. Install the new knock sensor, making sure it is properly aligned and tightened to the correct torque specification.
  7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the sensor.
  8. Reinstall the intake manifold, making sure all bolts and electrical connections are properly secured.
  9. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
Note that if you are not experienced with working on engines or are unsure of how to proceed, it may be best to seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic to replace the knock sensor on your 2003 Honda CRV.

WHERE DOES THE KNOCK SENSOR, AND OXYGEN SENSOR GO?

The knock sensor is located on the side of the engine block. And the oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust system. There will be one oxygen sensor (upstream) screwed into either the exhaust manifold or the exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter. The other oxygen sensor (down stream) will be screwed into the exhaust pipe just after the catalytic converter.

2003 Honda Oddyssey - PO325 Knock Sensor

If The engine in your van is a 3.5L, the knock sensor is under the upper intake manifold. This has to be removed in order to access the sensor on top of the engine block. The job requires an upper intake gasket set and about 1.5 hours to do; if you are handy with tools. For those who aren't; better off leaving this one to the professionals.
