No
the problem is in the fuel pressure regulator(pressure too high)
injectors leaking, injector seals leaking
or voltage to the ECM is too low

Check those things Bill listed . Also make sure the fuel return line to the tank is not bent causing high pressure .

SOURCE: my camry 2001 v6 engine

Black smoke indicates running "rich" (using excessive fuel) sounds like an injector is sticking open. I would first run a strong fuel system cleaner through it. (Maybe even have a professional fuel system cleaning) Ques? When was last tune up? A dirty air filter would contribute, but not make alot of black smoke.

SOURCE: my camry v6 emits black smoke and jerks in

You have three things to check Firstly, check all the vacuum lines going from the motor to the firewall, these cause the motor to vibrate violently at idle position because some times they become loose. Secondly, check the throttle body, there is a buy pass valve that gets so gummed that it will stick in the open position and there will be no power (no turbo boost) some times you can just lightly tap it and it will close(you will see it close).
Thirdly and lastly, check the tubing going to the inter cooler, it's very low to the ground and very easy to knock loose when you run over some thing.

SOURCE: 1991 toyota camry v6, has

white smoke is water in the combustion ,this means head gaskets and as this vehicle is so old 1991 then it may not be a economic repair ,1991 PETROL V6 even if its running well with a years inspection ticket its only worth 500 euros max and thats a it so is it worth repairing now a diesel manual version would be worth repairing providing it wasnt rusty underneath but this car is just too old to bother with

2004. Why is it emitting black smoke?

Is your vehicle a petrol or a diesel? Black smoke is a sign your engine is burning a fuel mixture that is too rich, (Too much fuel, not enough air). Start by replacing the AIR filter. After that you need to get the fuel injectors checked. If yours is a diesel have the EGR valve checked as a sticky valve isn't diverting unburnt fuel back through the fuel system.

I have toyota camry 2.2.i put in excessive oil but later had it drained after it would not run properly.it started smoking.after having it drained it now struggles to shift from gear one and emits black...

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
I suspect that you have a bad MAF (mass air flow) sensor. The MAF sensor controls the air and fuel mixture that when it's bad there's a noticeable smoke. I strongly suggest that you have the MAF sensor replaced to resolve the issue.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

1999 Toyota Camry grey smoke from exhaust

If it is grey smoke it sounds like steam which sounds like the cylnder head gasket is bust and needs replaced - if it has overheated then the worse case sceanrio is that the cylnder head may need reground or replaced. If the "smoke" is black then its burnuing oil and the seals are bust - much bigger job and more $'s.
