Fuel grade I just purchased a 2002 Solara, but the car doesn't have an owners manual. Can you tell me what grade of gasoline is recomended for the v6? Thanks. Rick

That's not good! Water is coolant, but you mean antifreeze. Did it push out the freeze plugs? Any cracks in the block or cylinder head?

If the battery went completely flat or you removed it for charging, you will need to reset the security system and immobilizer. The immobilizer is not giving you fuel.

87 octane should work fine unless otherwise is stated on the inside of the fuel door.

stop by a auto zone they will run a test to tell u what wrong and or sell the parts

Your owners manual will tell you what the recommended octane for that vehicle is.
Look in the index under fuel.

In the 4 cylinder, It Should be Toyota Type T, T-II ot T-IV, which translates pretty much to Valvoline's "Maxlife ATF" or another brand's equivalent.

The V6 should be Dexron III

If in doubt, consult your owner's manual. Also, a reputable dealer should be able to tell you at no charge on a VIN lookup
