It's possible your Hilux would run on that blend, but I don't believe Toyota would honor any warranty repairs (if you have any warranty). The cooking oil would have to be filtered to remove any particles, contaminants, or moisture before using it as these things would cause problems with your fuel system. Cooking oil will also gel up as the weather cools, so you would have to find a way to warm the oil to prevent that from happening. You would also have to find a way to keep the cooking oil and diesel fuel from separating.

What diesel (50 or 500ppm) should I use in the new Toyota 2.8 and 2.4 diesel engines for Hilux?

if you have different standards for diesel fuel use the higher quality
do not use artificial diesel ( palm oil or the like ) but use mineral based diesel
here we have only the one standard diesel and it is of high quality

What is the engine oil capacity for a2014 hilux

I bought a Hilux 3.0 diesel last year, and it's just had it's 10k service at a little under 6 months, with no problems. However the dealer was saying it will need it's next service at 15,000Km which seems very early for a brand new diesel that isn't doing any real heavy towing or anything. I

Toyota hilux pick up D4D has a hard start in the morning but ok after the first start, kindly advise

Have a compression test done to determine the engine condition. With the hard start and oil usage it points to a worn rings and a lower compression pressure than is required.

Does a toyota hilux surf 1995 diesel have spark plugs and points as in the days of yore??

Diesel engines don't have spark plugs. They use compression and heat to fire the diesel. Most diesel engines have glow plugs which are designed to preheat the combustion chamber to help burn the diesel fuel when you start it up. Hope this helps.

How much oil does my tacoma 3l turbo diesal take

the best type of oil for a diesel engine is mobil 1 , and it should be at least 10w40 if not 20w50, I'd call a dealer and ask about the weight. They can also tell you how much oil it will hold, or you can just add one quart at a time until you get it full on the dip stick, I'd say no more that 4-6 quarts total, but I do know that diesel's usually take alittle more that a standard gas engine.
