Hi rds 5000 radio in fiesta i used the radio code finder and entered the code but it didnt unlock there is a sticker on the radio saying it has been recoded but company wants 25 quid to tell me the code can anyone help PLEASE serial no is M024078

The code for this radio according to that serial is 2 3 7 3

IMPORTANT: However, if the radio has been recoded as you say then this code will not work as the factory code will have been changed. In this case you have no option other than to send it in to a decoder to be reset by specialist software. It has to be physically connected to software to do this - so they cannot tell you the code when the original code has been changed without using this equipment.

Sorry but there is no other way around it!!

It may well be worth your while to put the 25 quid towards an aftermarket radio. You can pick up a decent Sony from Halfords for 50 pounds for example.

Might be worth considering if the code I have given you does not work due to the previous repair.
