SOURCE: 2001 Buick Century. Fuel gauge didn't work.

I had a Grand Prix one time (basically the same car) that had a problem with the fuel pump harness. This harness plugs into the top of the fuel pump as you know, and into the floorboard underneath the car. Check the floorboard end for corrosion or broken wires.

SOURCE: when my buick century 1995 is cold it will start but won't rev up. once it is hot it runs okay

Number of possibilities. See if you have any diagnostic codes stored. Could be throttle position sensor, coolant temp. sensor, hard to say. I would start with the codes. Does it start easy when warmed up, and run good? Boy, I just don't know.

SOURCE: 1999 Buick Lesabre Custom will turn over but won't start.

sounds like it could be your crank sencer or being a 99 does it have a distributor or a coil over plug ignistion system called a DIS [distributorless ignistion system] , if it has a distributor it could be cap and rotor that you need. best bet is to get a diognostic systems check but if no codes detected then you need to check all in line fuseable links for a dead short,a fried brain box ,or a bad pron in your ecm [electronic control module ]

SOURCE: 2000 buick century sometimes wont start

If you battery is charged, sound like a starter problem or a ignition key switch problem.

SOURCE: buick century turns over won't start

check whether your vehicle is equipped with any immobilizer -anti theft system- as these systems are the one which could cause these unexpected situations.

My 1988 buick century stall,s after driving. engine warm,s up.won,t start right after stalling.start,s after sitting 10 or 15 minutes

Possibly an ignition module or crank sensor problem. These are the two most common stalling electronics that will cause a stall when they get warm/hot and will then continue to operate once cooled down

96 Buick Century stalls....

I spent endless time on this same problem on my 1992 Wagon. I changed out the computer but no help. It turned out to be the top dead center crank sensor that tells the system when the crank passes TDC. It is a small magnet essentially about the siz of a pencil eraser in the flywheel. it was cracked and occasionally would not "sense" and the car would just quit. troubleshooting was a nightmare because the computer diagnostics on the 1992 are less capable than the 1996 model. Anyway that is a relatively inexpensive fix and easy to know if it worked. Let me know how you solve this.
