1999 chevy tahoe no crank no start

I recently had my brake lights fixed when he brought it around it ran he cut it off but when i went to start it nothing no crank no start i've replaced all the battery cables. it's as if the starter still isn't getting any power. I've tried to turn the engine by hand but it won't move. Any suggestions would be great

The lights go on and are nice and bright but when I turn the key to start - nothing. It was running fine - shut it off and than went to start it up but nothing.

To me it sounds like the starter solenoid went out.

inside the door is a winder, pull off the face of the door and check if the glass is coonnected with the winder. The glass is connected to the winder with silicone.

SOURCE: 1999 tahoe won't hold charge

you may have an earth problem, but unlikely if did not register on diagnosis so you'll probably need a new battery or it may need conditioning( distilled water so might as well get new battery).

SOURCE: My 99 Taurus acts like the battery is dead it will

If the battery and starter have proven good, then you probably have a connection issue.Check condition of battery, wire to battery, and starter wires and connections also. I dont know your particular situation, but there is always the possibility of a motor trying to sieze.

My 1999 chevy tahoe wont start.. changed fuel

You don't say if you have checked anything else. It could be any number of issues. I would look into either the crank sensor or the ECM as possible failures. Did you have any Service Engine Soon lights recently? Have you had the ECM checked for any stored trouble codes?

1999 chevy Tahoe wont start but turns over

Your fuel pressure can be checked by connecting a fuel test gauge up to fuel test port which will be located on the fuel rail at the back of the engine on drivers side next to the distributor.Your fuel pressure should be 60-66 psi with key on engine off.If its not within these specs then replace the fuel pump and filter.

All brake lights went out on 2004 Chevy Tahoe

the most common cause of this is either a sticking 4 way flasher switch or the turn signal switch itself.

check the crank sensor. no signal from the crank sensor causes a no spark condition. best way to check is to put a scanner on and check for rpms.
