sounds like you have 2 differant issues! but maybe one cause first the passenger door latch has failed or the wiring to it as gone open circuit poss inside the door wiring grommet because its got a double locking system so to unlock the passenger doors and boot you normally have to press the unlock button twice so perhaps the locking module is confused sort out the passenger latch first it then it should return to normal operation good luck
this is a problem that can appear after your car battery died, cause the car didn't reset propely, so taking the battery out and putting it back in or letting your car die again would do the trick. I tried a lot of reprogramming procedured for my remote key, none of them worked, what did the trick though was simply unlocking the doors via the all door unlock button on the passenger side door, so simple.
Hello.. Not 100% sure what you mean, but if your saying that when you use the keyfob, only the drivers door unlocks, try pressing unlock twice in quick succession. This should unlock all the doors. Hope this helps.
I have a 2002 land rover discovery and my passenger front door won't unlock with the interior lock button on the dash or with the key fob. The only way to unlock the door is to pull the handle on the inside of the door. Is the actuator bad?
If remote locks and unlocks driver door but does not unlock passenger doors, then follow the advice above: Get in the car using the key to unlock the doors. From the passenger
side lock and unlock your doors using the button on the passenger
door. Get out and the remote should now unlock all the doors with 2
presses. Worked perfectly for me after several other suggestions (and dealer) failed.
