While at a stand still car jerks like it wants to cut off

There is some ideas in the link, but you need to find someone in South Africa that has a scan tool computer. Dirty injector from bad fuel is the most likely. Check the spark plugs as well.

Jerking or cutting fuel supply? How did you determine that? This is most likely a sensor in the engine. Could be a fuel pump relay but it most likely is a crank shaft sensor.

sound like crankshaft sensor.

Clean or replace the "Idle Air Control Valve" and use injector cleaner in your gas tank...STP super concentrated in the black bottle is proven...Hope this helps.

Do a compression check. It sounds like the valve timing. If the engine has had recent maintenance like tune ups, oil changes etc. the symptoms you describe indicate serious problems.

The jerking can be caused by the A/C compressor cutting in & out causing a extra drag on the engine.This is usually caused by low freon presure.

Have your MAF sensor ck'd or replace. It controls your fuel/ good luck

Had same problem: cutting out at low rpm, jerking, a huge clunk or shudder at higher speed (like transmission was going out), and rough idle. All these symptoms were intermittent.

CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!! Changed the fuel filter and thing runs fine!!
