Hi,The car battery of my BMW 320i E90 ,2005 year model seems to have drained completely.None of the electronics in the car is lit up.The remote control is also not functioning at all. The manual of the car suggests Jump-start using a donor car's battery or a Jump-starter equipment. What would you recommend. And how much time would it take. Kindly advise , i am quite worried about it since its my first BMW and i had it just for a month. Kind regards, Anuli
Connect your old battery with another battery from another car (WHILE KEEPING ALL CABLES CONNECTED ON BOTH CARS) just user a bridge cable otherwise you'll need. a code to reactivate your BMW again. Try now to start your BMW engine. Now go to the nearest battery dealer to change the battery WHILE KEEPING YOUR ENGINE ON, otherwise you'll need a code to activate your BMW again :)
Good Luck!
Hi Joseph I also have a similar problem. Its a 320d 2005 model, it was in an accident and during the time it was in the panel beaters workshop it would start without any problems, but my battery ran flat now the car cannot switch on, only the accessories come on, hence the car wont start. How do I get a new code to reactivate the car? stressed for days

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
