SOURCE: Remove door trim to install side mirror.
ft door panel has 2 round covers for 2 screws, arm rest has 2 0r 3 screws(ft mid and rear of rest) 2 push in clips on right side of panel, 1 cover for screw middle about 6 inches from bottom. tricky part is door handle bezel. where the inner handle pivots, insert small screwdriver and pry up,it should pop out and do the same for the bottom. p.s. be very cautious with regulator when installing it to motor.if cables come unspooled, your screwed.
SOURCE: Replacing driver side mirror
Take off side door panel, screws securing it are revealed, unscrew screws remove them and and the mirror drops off. If the wing mirror is on the bodywork, then the screws should be either in the wheel arch or under the bonnet.

I know this post is almost a year old, but I just did this two minutes ago with a mirror from a 99 Avalon and I thought I could help out someone in the future. So...
First, you will need two slotted screwdrivers--one mini and one regular size. On the flat end of the button there is a small slot just left of center. Insert the mini screwdriver into the slot with the flat edge against the bottom of the button. Aim it towards the middle and push back--this releases the clip. Now, while holding the mini screwdriver in place, take the regular screw driver and push/pry from the curved end of the button. The button should slide right out. No problem!
Turn your Chrysler vehicle off and press and hold the two outside buttons on your onboard opener system. Release the buttons once the red indicator light begins flashing. This will erase any previous codes programmed to your system.
Hold your garage door opener remote two inches away from the onboard system.
Press and hold the button you wish to program on your onboard system and the open button on your remote simultaneously. Release the buttons once the indicator light on the onboard system begins flashing.
Press the training button on your Chrysler's system until the light glows solid. If it does not glow solid, continue to the following steps.
Press the "learn" button on your garage door remote, located near the antenna wire on the back or side of the system, and return to your vehicle.
Press the training button on your on board system, hold it for two seconds and release. Repeat the press/hold/release step two more times and your remote will be programmed and ready for use.
