1996 chevy blazer ls s10 style

I have no power to my truck whatsoever. The former engine that was in it went bad and the guy I just bought it from said he replaced it and there is no power no lights,NOTHING AT ALL happens ANY IDEAS WE CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. We think it's a ground wire somewhere that's not hooked up right but can't find the problem. I know it has a 4.3 L vortec engine in it now

Check for a security system under the dash near the steering column. had the same problem with mine and removed the security system and it has worked fine since.

In the engine bay fuse box there is a big fuse called the Main Fuse. Check that first, can blow if the battery gets shorted out or something like that. Just an idea really, hard to diagnose without the vehicle in front of me.

Will a 1996 chevy blazer LS 4wd differential fit into a 2000 chevy blazer LS rwd rear end ?

Measure the lenth of both rear ends. see iss all hardware will bolt up without fabrication. if its the same size it will work. But im afraid being a 4 wheel drive it will be geared lower then a regular pick up/ Drive shaft may work but if not it would have to be shortened or lenghthebed. alot of work. Brakes you could leave the non drum breaks on better stopping power. I honestly believe you would be better off just going to a scrap yard and find one very easy to remove and replave few hour job.

How do u read the retrieval codes for a 93 chevy blazer s10?

If your talking about the Check engine light. You will need a CHEVROLET OBD I code reader. the auto makers used their own style of ports and language until OBD II in 1996. The code reader can be purchased at most auto parts stores and it isn't very expensive.

89-98 chevy blazer

It's not worth doing all that conversion, buy the time you spend the time and money to convert the 89 4.3 to work on the 98 blazer, it would be cheaper to install a 98 vortec rebuild. The 89 4.3 have a TBI fuel injection system and the ecm on the 98 will not work and the bad news is that the ecm on the 98 also controls the transmission shift points and the 89 will not, so even if you swap the ecm to have the 89 4.3 engine work. the transmission will not shift. Sorry for the bad news but it would be cheaper to replace the 98 engine with the years of 1996 to 2001. Good luck and hope this helps.
