I seriously doubt that your problem is being caused by a fuse. Your Passive Restraint System has a problem. This could be caused by a driver's airbag, a passenger airbag, a seat beltpre-tensioner, a contact assembly in the steering column, or any of the crash sensors. To find out what the problem is, you must scan your Passive Restraint (or Airbag) module to retrieve fault codes. The only thing I can tell you for sure without properly diagnosing your vehicle is that your airbag system will not function in the event of a crash. The system is designed to disable itself any time the warning light is illuminated. This is to prevent accidental deployment of the airbags due to a malfunction in the system.
The airbag system performs a diagnostic self check everytime the car is started the airbag light will illuminate for a few seconds then turn off if the system in in a fully functional state. If the diagnostic finds a fault the light will stay on and the airbag system will place itself in operation negitive state. This requires a professional who has the skill set and proper tools to repair this safety feature
There are 4 oxy. sensors listed for your truck. they're located as follows
Left exaust before catalytic converter. bank1 sensor1-after cat conv.
bank1 sensor2. right exaust before cat.conv. bank2 sensor1-after cat.
conv. bank2 sensor2. Hope this helps.
the sensor is located at the back of the top of the engine, behind the distributor. Could be the sensor or the gauge itself. Probably the sensor stuck.
