1992 Eagle Talon won't start. Has fuel to injector rail

OIL SMELL LIKE GAS.POSSIBLE CAUSE.WEAK SPARK LEAKING FUEL INJECTORS AND FAULTY FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR.

shake at idle means u have a cylinder misfire or low commpression, here are causes of misfires most commonly seen.

The most common misfire causes on the cars I've worked on have been:

1. Spark plugs
2. Spark plug wires
3. Ignition coil
4. Fuel injector
5. Wiring to fuel injector
6. Timing Belt
7. Vacuum leak or stuck open EGR
8. Contaminated fuel or bad fuel pump
9. Weak compression
10. Blown head gasket

Your ignition switch is good if you are getting spark to the plugs. You need to find out why your not getting fuel through the injecters.Check your relays again . Do not crank engine over ,but turn key on and off 10 times to charge the fuel lines.But I think you need to check your wireing and get your instrument cluster working first.

make sure the timing belt hasnt broken.they can break at anytime when old and usually break when decellerating [spelling wrong] or when turning off engine.

Quick guess...........Dirty fuel injectors. But someone else might have a better guess.

check fuel pump?

Theres so many things that can cause a car not to start, can you smell petrol after trying to start? if so start with checking the spark side of things, if you dont smell gas find the fuel filter and follow the fuel hose to the fuel rail and squeeze the hose while some one turns the ignition on without starting. You should feel the hose expand when the ignition is turned to the on position, if it does then the fuel pump is doing its job. Like i said it could be alot of things but this is a good place to start. Is it multi coil set up?

what about compression

dsm skeem/ The wires from the injectors run right back to the cars E.C.M A bad wire or connection at the computer harness may be the problem. check for signal at the injector connector using a noid test light. If u do have power then its more than likely the injectors are bad.
