Not sure of what you are working on, ...but
All standard (Manual) gearboxes have a drain plug, and located higher than that, another similar plug used as a level. You remove the upper plug and fll until it is within 1/2 of an inch, to running out the hole. Make sure the vehicle is level when doing this.

Can you change transmission fluid on a manual transmission if so how

'Transmission Fluid' in a manual transmission vehicle is called 'gearbox oil'. On the gearbox, there is a drain plug in the bottom somewhere and a fill plug on the side. You drain, clean the drain plug, replace the copper washer and put the drain plug back in. Fill the gearbox with oil until the oil starts to weep out of the filling hole. Replace the fill plug.

year make model change gearbox oil

Please include 'year make model' in all questions in this category. Thanks.

Manual gearboxes usually require a gearbox oil change every 30,000 to 50,000 mi (48,000 to 80,000 km). Automatic gearboxes usually have gear oil change intervals of between 60,000 to 100,000 mi (96,000 to 160,000 km). It's advisable that you change your gearbox oil filter at the same time as your oil.

Would like to know where the top up plug for my gear oil is and if there is a dip stick manual proton savvy bt 2006

Manual Transmissions don't have dip sticks.

2. Manual gearboxes have a drain and filler plug. The filler plug is usually found in an accessible position on one side of the gearbox which has to be accessed from under the vehicle.

To top up the gearbox the car has to be perfectly level so if you need to add oil to the gearbox you ideally need to get the car up on a garage hoist/lift so you can both access the filler plug easily, remove it and pump in the fresh gear oil. The usual correct oil level on these gearboxes is level with the bottom section of the filler plug opening in the gearbox. However you should check with the proton service staff on the correct procedure for topping up the manual gearbox in your car.

Does a 2011 caddyTDi250 1.6 ltr need the gearbox oil changed when the vehicle has its regular service?its 5 speed manual gearbox, and is there a filter to be changed?

No but check with the dealer or your service/owner manual for the manufacturer recommended gearbox oil change periods.
There is no filter on the manual gearbox .
Whatever the manufacturer recommended period is for a gearbox oil change, change the gearbox oil twice as frequently as recommended to maintain it in good condition. If, for example, a change every 50000 miles is stipulated then do it every 25000 or so.

I have a nissan 1400 champ and is leaking oil on the front part of the manual 5 speed gearbox and the rear part of the gearbox. I have replaced the crankshaft oil seal but i still have oil leaking on

There are seals on the front and rear of the transmission. If the clutch wasn't covered in engine oil, then replacing the crankshaft seal wasn't necessary. Reseal the transmission.
