I noticed the dash lights were not working and also the brake & tail lamps were out. Replaced both fuses but the tail lamp fuse (10amp) located in the engine compartment keeps blowing within 1 minute of the lights being on. Last time I looked at the tail lights to confirm they worked after replacing the fuse I noticed the driver's side orange turn signal lamp was as well, but not flashing!? The the fuse blew again.
You got a wiring issue that keeps shorting out fuses find that and that should take care of everything else
Testimonial: "It was a wiring issue with the trailer light's control module located behind the driver's rear tire. Somehow, it went bad, and was causing all the problems. I bypassed it and problem solved. Funny, Ive had the Nissan for 9 years and never even used the hitch or light plug and it ended up causing me 2 days of chaos!"

I know this is a wiring problem and I was wondering about the trailer wiring that came on the suv. I have never used it but if this is corroded could this cause the problem. If so, could I just eliminate that wiring to solve the problem? The reason I think the trailer wiring has something to do with it is because the stop light's fuse was also blown and then the orange turn signal light coming on randomly (not flashing though) until the fuse blew again. Thanks for any input - I appreciate it.
