I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus SE. I replaced the water pump, timing belt, Spark plugs, and Plug wires. It loabs at idol. Runs great going through gears except when you cruse you feel the loab real light. Took it to O"Railly's Auto Parts had them test it Said Nothing Wrong. Any advise would be helpful. OtiscoBill

I think you are talking about it idling rough. like as if it almost wants to turn off? If so you might have the same problem that I do. I ran an OBDII scanner. I got this code "P0172" Fuel mixture too rich. From what I gathered there is something wrong in the oxygen fuel mixture, in order to compensate your main computer pumps more fuel in order to keep the car running (i think). Technically there might not be anything wrong mechanically, it just might be a sensor like the Oxygen Sensor, EGR, or something else.... There is a whole list of things to check if you get this code....
So if by "loabs" you mean that ur car idles rough then this might be the problem... hope that gives you some light on your situation...
We are having the same exact problem with my stratus, except ours will actually go dead at a stop.We replaced water pump, timing belt and a couple other belts, but now it runs awful. Please if anybody knows what could be wrong please feel free to lend some advice.
