Power windows don't use fuse's , has circuit breakers
ā¢ PWR WDO CB 25A (fuse block) (System power for left and right windows 2-door vehicles. System power for LF and LR windows 4-door vehicles)
ā¢ PWR WDO CB 25A (IP wiring harness junction block) (System power for RF and RR windows 4-door vehicles)
Door Lock System Components
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
ā¢ The driver door module (DDM)
ā¢ The passenger door module (PDM)
ā¢ The body control module (BCM)
ā¢ The driver information center (DIC)
ā¢ The rear door lock switch
ā¢ The door lock relay
ā¢ The door unlock relay
ā¢ The liftgate lock relay--utility vehicles with liftgate only
ā¢ The reversible door lock actuators in each of the doors and liftgate
ā¢ LOCKS 20A fuse (rear lock/unlock relay supply voltage)
ā¢ ECC 10A fuse (liftgate lock relay supply voltage)
Hit the door at the door latch area with a rubber hammer from the outside just as you move the lock lever to unlock,You may have to do this a few times but this usually does the trick.
DO NOT lock this door until you have corrected the sticky lock problem now that it is unlocked!
Give the door a good hard hit with a rubber hammer just as you move the lock button to unlock, that should do it.DO NOT lock this door again until the lock mech is lubed. You may have to try this a few times but it should open once it is actually unlocked.
Have all the remotes you want to program with you, you can program upto 4...turn key from off to on 8 times withn 10 seconds, stoping in the on position, door locks will cycle to confirm it's in learn mode, press lock button on remote and door locks will cycle once to confirm remote is programmed. ..then press lock button on remaining remotes one at a time to program them...shut key off and try remotes...on 4 remotes are allowed. .when you do this all other remotes that you don't havr with you will not work.
no one fuse, check the connections for switch, one may have been knocked loose. does lock open manually and is it hard? actuator may have failed or rubbing and resisting . hope this helps
Pull the inside panel off ,and look at the latch itself, that latches the door, and look for the lever that locks the latch,it will be sticking out of the latch, and try and release the lock by moving the lever.
This can be caused by the actuators in the lock mechanism
failing usually causing the door to remain locked. The boor door can
also fail this way, though sometimes the catch sticks (pry off the LR
badge, squirt with WD40 and work it a few times to fix that).
Replacement requires the
whole lock unit to be replaced at a cost of roughly £60 a lock, and a
hours work. Helps if you have small hands. It does require a complete
strip down of the door, and will need the lock unit, trim panel clips,
and a trim removal tool. Clips are a few quid, the tool's usually around
a tenner. For the rear door, this is slightly easier due to the lack of moveable glass, so you just need to get the rear panel off including sub and open it. Try clicking unlock on your fob while pulling the latch inside. This may pop it open at the crucial point. If you put the child lock on, you're stuffed! I saw one at a breakers yard where they had to use a disc cutter to get the door open.
Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door.
Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.
Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.
Step 5: Open and close the driver’s door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).
Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.
Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.
Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) twice. Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.
Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done!
