No, the bolt pattern is not the same. The 2003 Ford Escape uses a 5 lug x 108.75mm bolt pattern, while the 2001 S10 Blazer with a 4.3L uses a 5 lug x 115mm bolt pattern.

This 4.3 V6 is just a 350 V8 with 2 cylinders missing and even a V8 trans will fit/interchange physically being the same bolt pattern and size. If it's the same shift pattern and both transmissions are overdrive transmissions, yes, it will interchange. If it's GM, it'll swap. From 1988 the automatic transmissions have a multi bolt pattern and Pontiac, Caddy, Olds and Chevy, all will bolt up.

14" x 6" is the standard wheel size, and the lug bolt pattern is 5 x 100. That is pretty standard for most 5 lug compact cars. My Scion tC has the same pattern, but the lexus, and I believe the Camry are 5 x 114. Basically 5 x 100, and 5 x 114 are the standard for compact 5 lug cars. If you go on ebay, and put 5 x 100, you will see some nice wheels, and also, if you put 96 cavalier wheels in the search bar on ebay, when people list their wheels, they will also put what other cars they fit in the title page. That should get you well on the way to finding some wheels. Hope I fixed ya!

wheelhelp.net says that for the Dodge Dakotas 2005-up the lug pattern is 5/139.7 with a 9/16 RH stud size and a 77.8 Hub/center bore

They both should be the small chevy bolt pattern. Take a tape measure and measure across the lug nuts at a diagonal center to center on both. If they're the same, it will work.
