SOURCE: 2001 ford focus heater switch

I have just managed to fix the blower in my 2004 Ford Focus. Only worked on number 4 which cuts out the AC. Garage quoted me £40 for part and £40 for labour. I brought a second hand resistor from these people (very helpful and only £10 plus VAT) http://www.breakeryard.com/view_supplier_feed...

. Arrived next day. To replace the old one you just remove the 3 screws under the glove box and pull the box out. In front of you will be a big barrel which is the fan. To the bottom right of this you will see the old resistor. This is held in by one screw. Remove this and pull out the fixed wires. Put in the new part, re attach the wires and put the screw back. Job done. Should take about 15mins.
Hope this helps somebody somewhere

SOURCE: heater fan only works on fastest speed

Your blower motor resistor has gone bad, it should be located next to your blower motor in the car, held in place with a couple of screws, remove it and replace it. The resistor is responsible for making the blower motor run at slower speeds than high or (4). Let me know if this helps.

Ford Focus 2006 front windscreen heater not working. I can't find any diagrams showing the fuses or relays for this. Also the handbrake light is staying on.

If you mean that the heat is working for the floor but will not come out of the defroster vents or anywhere else it's the blend door actuator that controls which area to send the airflow or do you mean there's no heat at all from any position //no fan no power? If so you need to go to ford owners.Com and download the latest version of the owners manual then go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams and fuse values are there and the relays location also if all fuses are good then either the blend door actuator failed or the blower motor resistor the actual defroster switch /the ac / heater control panel switch please go to rockauto.Com and look in the heat/ac section & the electrical switch and relay section to see what your parts look like you can run jump wires from the battery to test them or a volt meter

This info should be in your owners manual. If you don't have an owners manual, there are a couple of web sites where you can look at the owners manual for free, fleet.ford.com, also, fordparts.com
At fordparts.com, you have to click on the pro center link, then technical resources.

If you rather I post the info, that's ok? http://www.fleet.ford.com/http://www.fordparts.com/

MY 2002 FORD FOCUS WAGON ZTW HEATER STOPPED WORKING . COULS IT BE THE FUSE OR WILL I NEED TO REPLACE THE HEATER AT WHAT COST?

Yes it could be a fuse. You need a test light or volt meter to test.
A fuse goes bad because of an overload of amps, or a short. (A bad fan motor can short out). Check all fuses. (See the owners manual for locations) If all is good, you need to see if you get voltage to the fan motor. If the fuse is blown, or bad, replace it and try it again, if it blows again, unplug the heater fan and then try another fuse. If it doesn't go bad, the motor may be bad. Cost will depend on what you can do yourself.

2001 Ford Focus heater switch doesn't work on any

The rsistor repair usually is only for when the heater only works on high speed. Did you check your fuses. Owner manual will tell you how many & where they are. You have a 30 amp fuse (F64) in the fuse box under the hood. Check that first. Check fuses 36 & 58 (7.5A) in the fuse panel on the instrument panel

If not fuses or relays, then I would suspect a bad blower motor or switch. Buy switch cheaper at tascafordparts.com
