Windshield wipers vibrate & are very noisy

If your blades are "skipping" or seem to be "sticking" to the windshield they may simply just need to be replaced. The rubber gets stiff with use and from chemicals and will no longer be pliable enough to slide across the windshield. If you check them and they are cracked or stiff, replace them. The blade cartridge can also have loose or cracked parts caused by weather, usually where it assembles to your wiper arm. Your vehicle can use multiple design types, the easiest to install and remove is the Shepards Hook.
However, if you find nothing wrong with the blades, check the underside of the wiper arm and you will see a spring. Check the tension of the spring with your finger. If it is relatively easy to pull out then it is too worn and won't provide enough pressure on your wiper arm. Replace it.

The windshield wiper arc on my Pontiac Aztek

The wiper blades are probably generics, or your technician put the wrong blades on. (most likely generics). I would reccommend going to a Pontiac dealership and getting factory blades. OEM parts are highly reliable.

I have a 1995 Mercedes C280 and the windshield wiper works fine for about 10 minutes and then it goes very slow as if it is hanging up in the middle of the wipe of the windshield? What do I do to fix it?

You need to remove the cover at the base of the blade and oil or grease the mecanism that makes the wiper move up and down and it moves across the windshield. It is dried out and sticking.

Retracting wiper blades lexus es 330 2004

I am the owner of a 2004 ES330 and the answer by 240 CPR is totally wrong. If you look in your owners manual on how to replace the wiper blades you'll find that all need to do is push down firmly on the wiper arm and it'll snap back down where it belongs.
