My 4x4 will not work or lights or or speedodemter

if you have no lights that's one thing , but if 4x4 wont ingage that tells me it may be a fuse and if the 4x4 wont ingage it wont light the icon on dash

Check fuses, relays, actuator.

Check the 4X4 switch with a scanner if that is ok check the motor at the transfer case if theres power and ground replace the motor also check the bcm.

Sounds like the transfer case motor is going out or bad, i know the trucks have a 4x4 engagement motor on the front differential which engages the front axles. i am not sure how yours is setup, you will have one or the other.

!st of all, I really hope you are NOT driving on dry pavement with your 4x4 engaged. 2nd if you're trying to engage the 4x4 and your getting the service 4x4 light, it's telling you that it will not engage the 4x4. Hook up a code reader to your ECU and find out what's up. More than likely if you have the push button 4x4, your servo motor to engage the 4x4 is not working. If you're mechanically inclined buy a service manual and dig in, if not take it to the GM dealer before it becomes totally FUBARED

The 4x4 dash light won't come on in 4x4 i know for sure it is in 4x4

the 4x4 high light has been on far longer than the low ratio light, I suspect it has simply worn out and blown, try a new light. other than that the switch in the transmission could be faulty / have corroded connectors

You say you don't get a code.Did you check it with a monitor or is the check engine light not on? The cheapest thing to try are the input and output sensors. They are 20-30 dollars a piece. I think they are screwed in on the pass. side of the transmission.If that doesn't cure it you might want a transmission shop to look at it. Good luck and let me know, Dan
