Why are my wipers going constantly and why doesn't any air blow out of my vents on my 2005 Chevy Impala?

I think you have two things going on, your multifunction switch which runs our wipers and your blinkers and high beam, is bad. for your Heat not working , i'm pretty sure that is not tied into the wiper system, does you fan turn on at all in any speeds low high only ?

How to fix wiper linkage

Order a new one on the internet and just replace it. You can buy generic parts for the arms but they won't last.

The wipers on my 2005 F-150XLT super cab 4X4 quit working. The washers come on briefly when I turn on the ignition. The washers stay on constantly if I turn the wiper switch to high. I need help! Thanks!

Hello, There is a good photo by photo description on F150 wiper switches at FordF150.net/How to/Fix-Intermittent-Wiper-Problem-PHP. It is the only solution I have seen on this problem.

Otherwise you need a new MFS-multi function- switch.

I hope you feel my solution is very helpful.

2005 h2 wipers run all the time

There was a recall on the suv`s but I`m not sure the h2`s were included. The fix was the replacement of the wiper motor module which is on the motor. All you have to do is remove the cover on the wiper motor and the module is there.Just unplug it and pry it out with a small screw driver. You can get a module from the dealership parts department.Just follow the directions.Hope this helps.Good luck.

How can I fix my rear wiper. It doesn't go across

no problem,
you need to find the base of the wiper arm where it connects to your window.lift up a plastic flip piece that covers a 13mm nut, loosen the nut just a little bit them move arm where the it should be"in the stop position".
and re-tighten nut tight.

I have a 05 Impala and the wipers stay up when they are off. How can i fix this? Some forum said it is the wiper transmission but it cost 150 dollars for part and 300 to have fixed. Can it be any thing...

it is either the wiper trans or the wiper motor, more likely the wiper motor is defective. the wiper motor is what i have found casues this the most often, in fact the wiper trans has never been the cause of not parking in any car i have fixed in the last 25 years.

I have a 2005 ford galaxy with slow wipers

Hey there. I had a similar problem on my 2001 galaxy diesel. On research it's a very common problem. If you are mechanically minded it can be an easy fix with a bit of time. You need to remove the whole wiper linkage and motor and free out the bushes that hold the wipers in position applying pbc grease before refitting. Continued use will only result in your motor burning out which is 350+euro from ford and if the linkage seizes completely then another 400+euro so catch it before it's too late.
