I am rebuilding my engine. and need torque specs for a toyota hilux 2006
It depends on the size of the screws. i recommend to set torque as 100lbs for new bolts, 90 for old bolts
For a 5L Engine 3.0 lt
Use oil on threads and Head of bolt were it contacts cylinder head.
Step 1 75 N/m
Step 2 90 Degrees
Step 3 Another 90 Degrees
These are Stretch to yield bolts and should not be reused.
On the 1kd-ftv (3litre ) it is recommended that you tighten 85N/m then 90 degree then another 90 degree . They are also stretch bolts and should be renewed

SOURCE: tow bar specs for 1988 hilux and 1983 toyota hilux, are they same
I'd check with manufacturer of tow bar to be sure it bolts on the same etc. I'm sure they would give you that info, and if nothing else, call a place that sells them and ask for kit number for both vehicles & if they are the same number, well, just need to check that they bolt on exactly the same, that's why I would contact manufacturer for copy of install instructions for the new install.
SOURCE: where can I get a free owner's manual for a toyota hilux 2006
This site is saying it will let you download a PDF version of the owners manual awell as a service manual-> http://toyotaownersmanuals.info/category/toyota-hilux/
This site also is suppose to have access to them: -> http://www.toyota.com/owners/web/pages/resources/owners-manuals#
Otherwise I'd say try Ebay,
Good Luck
