1994 lexus ls400 with 115,000 miles, the light came on and then the car had no power when I was driving it home...what is this??? it is the engine electrical light...I am afraid to drive it to the shop....should I have it towed?? Exactly the same problem. Only stalls on highway at high speed. Starts riaght up when engine is turned off and back on. No engine light on dash.

Vsc and malfunction warning lights lit up whilst driving..engine revs when idling but very little power when driving..

Scan the computer for trouble codes. Once you know what codes a present post them here. You can buy an inexpensive scan tool and get codes yourself, you can call your local parts store to see if they can get the codes for you, or you can bring it to a shop and have them run a diagnoses. The VSC light will always come on any time the check engine light comes on.

1994 Lexus LS400 - 140,000 miles Check Engine light is consistently on, Car's feels like transmission is slipping, but the issue isn't trans related, burning small amt of oil. Ideas??

Hi,

The check engine light comes on mostly when you have bad gas tank cup,or you don't tight enough the gasoline.Go to any auto-zone and request the obd scanner,at no charge just leave your driver license or credit card, connect the scanner follow the instructions. They will check up and the check engine light will come off in the next 3 to 5 days.

Lexus 330 Engine light is fleshing and VSC light on

Basically, stop driving it until you can get the transmission serviced.
If you can safely jack up the vehicle and support it so it cannot fall on you, you can possible save some money by checking all the electrical connections to the transmission. Sometimes the problem is a loose or bad connection. If that does not work, your safest bet is to bring it to a certified mechanic, especially one who specializes in Lexus.

Engine light, no power

Sounds like a great car and I would not take a chance. I would have it towed. Good Luck.
