Where is the water comming from in the sam fuse box of my 2001 mercedes benz s600

Mercedes are the only manufacturer to have 8 or 10 fuse boxes :>D Don't forget the radio is also connected and monitored by the BCM.

I think you are the victim of an otherwise good idea; theft protection that has disabled the electrical system.

SOUNDS LIKE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.ARE THE FLOOR CARPETS WET.IF THE DRAIN TUBE CLOGS FOR THE INTAKE AIR DUCTS BELOW THE WINDSHIELD,WATER WILL OVERFLOW AND RUN INSIDE THE CAR.THE REAR SAM (SIGNAL AQUISITION MODULE) IS UNDER THE REAR SEAT ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE.WHEN THIS MODULE GETS WET,ALL KINDS OF STRANGE PROBLEMS DEVELOP.

Hi, there are 2 fuse box and the 2 of them are located under the engine hood, they are both against the firewall in the back corners of the engine compartment. The fuse box on the drivers side of the firewall has most of the common fuses in it.

The last one is located under the rear seat. There is a access panel below the passengers side rear seat, just unclip the plastic panel from the top.

there should be 2 under the hood 1 on each side of the engine compartment by the hinges. 1 under the rear seat on the passenger side - just pull off the cover where the interior light is. and the last one is on the right side of the dash behind the cover.

A 2002 S500 actually has 3 differant fuse boxes.

You most likely have another fuse box either in the glove box or under the dasy. It sounds like a blown fuse.
