I need to change the speeddometer reed switch on my 2002 hyundai accent but i do not know where is it on the engine.
SOURCE: 2002 Hyundai Accent Problem
first thing i need to know is did the timing belt break?
second is are you sure you aligned the timing marks and after the belt tensioner was tight you rechecked to make sure the timing stayed where you had it.
next step would be a compression check to if a valve was bent whenchanging the belt
i have seen this happen and this engine is an interferance engine.

Was It Starting Before?
Who Changed It?
If The Belt Broke And The Belt Was Just Put Back On Without It Being Put In (TDC) Top Dead Center The Car Will Not Run. Warning! Trying To Start It Over And Over Will Destroy The Engine. The Engine Works By Being (TDC) Top Dead Center The Timing Controls When The Cylinders Come To The Top. The cylinders Are Controlled By The Timing So When The Spark Plugs Try To Ignite. The Cylinders Are Not In Position And Thus Will Not Create Combustion For The Engine To Run.
SOURCE: how do i change the front brake pads
It is very easy ive done this myself, what you want to do is jack up the car making sure you have taken all safety precautions, jackstand, make sure you work on a flat surface. Remove the tire and you should see the caliper, remove i think its the bottom bolt in the back, its like a regular bolt, then make sure you remove it completely. Then use a mallet or your hand if possible, to loosen the bottom, and the caliper should swing up like a hinge, and just put something there to hold it. take out the old pads, and put the new ones in, and use a c-clamp to push in the adjuster, and make sure your cap is off of the brake fluid reservoir.

P0734 - 4th gear incorrect ratio. P1529 Malfunction Indicator Lamp Request. Problem is in the transmission.
Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.
SOURCE: Broken Hyundai 2002 Accent door handles
I had this exact same problem with my 2002 Accent. First the passenger side door failed, and then a couple days ago the driver side door failed as well. It's a small plastic part that snaps and can't be put back together with super glue (I tried). Found a website today called thepartsbin.com that had replacement handles (though they appear to be chrome only, and not the black plastic like the original). They were about $28 each, and $9 ground shipping. Was the cheapest of 3 different autopart websites that I looked at.
Getting the inside door cover off is a bit of a pain, but I am familiar with it since I had to take them off to install new speakers. Getting the door handle out itself is a whole nother pain in the ****. It definitely would require special tools, and it took two people to get the passenger side one out before. If you are so inclined, it's possible to fix yourself, but I would recommend buying the parts and then try to see if you can find an honest mechanic who can put them in for you. Dealerships will probably take you to the cleaners for 200-300 dollars easy with parts and labor.
